As a space intended to drive out the scorching heat on site, the design is created as a shell of 4 units, with landscape buffers on the outside as well as inside. Keeping in mind age-old design techniques, the orientation of openings and break up of levels offer luxury in the arms of nature. By letting go of each others site offset, this allows for more activities and greater utilization of
space. Common spaces call for community interaction with control points ensuring privacy and security. Completed with 6 and a half bedrooms, Office, 3 living rooms, 2 mid level swimming pools and connected terraces, it is the perfect combination of design and practicality providing everything on 60x40 site (one unit in the set of 4 rests on one plot of size 60x40). The project aims to combine wood, brick and metal in a bold fashion. Big, spacious and airy rooms allow ample cross ventilation to take place, a necessity to counter the tropical heat outside. Both levels are landscaped to keep the place cool and light, set against exposed finishes on all sides. Interiors is kept modern minimal in common

Both levels are landscaped to keep the place cool and light, set against exposed finishes on all sides. Interiors is kept modern minimal in common areas with double height volumes expanding the space even more. The house consists of a total of 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and multiple outdoor areas. We designed our Ittige mane project fondly, with a modern, clean look that is both practical and inspirational. An increased number of openings offer a unique yet warm experience suited to every visitor, no matter their age and help reconnect with nature. We designed our Ittige mane project fondly, with a modern, clean look that is both practical and inspirational. An increased number of openings offer a unique yet warm experience suited to every visitor, no matter their age and help reconnect with nature. We were inspired by the region’s architecture and natural environment, and aimed to open the indoor to the greenery outside. Keeping in mind the brick kiln practically next door, brick has been extensively used along with wood and metal accents. The region is heavily landscaped, with jaali partitions and pargolar creating several interesting nooks and corners to enjoy sunsets and starry nights.

The design was made to look like a contemporary version of a cabin, with glass and wooden pivot windows keeping the plan transparent and open to the outside. Despite having one master bedroom, the seating otherwise is designed using sofas that can be converted into beds during the night, thus allowing the entire living room to turn into
The design was made to look like a contemporary version of a cabin, with glass and wooden pivot windows keeping the plan transparent and open to the outside. Despite having one master bedroom, the seating otherwise is designed using sofas that can be converted into beds during the night, thus allowing the entire living room to turn into a giant bedroom for spontaneous sleepovers and movie nights. The space is welcoming, complete with a modular kitchen that opens to the dining outside. The place is perfect for brunch parties, finished with its own hydroponic vegetable, fruit and herb farm. Solar panels, a rain water harvesting system and natural sewage treatment plant along with their own produce helps the place stay off grid, making it the perfect vacation house.
